You want to show great value without overdoing it?
A gift that meets your budget and your boss’ approval?
Why not give your clients “A Networking Book”?

It’s great value and to make it even more special, I can personalize each book with your special message, see below as an example.

Why not treat your clients with a soft cover ($14.99 US/ 50 Ron) as a Xmas gift, or even for friends and family?
And, because you’ve been nice, Santa has a gift for you. If you buy 5 A Networking Books, you’ll find under the Christmas tree your free Audible.com code so you can listen it too.

Don’t panic. The magic words: Ice Breaker.

If it’s an event where people are expected to meet other people – you’re in good company. You just need to crank up your courage level a little bit!

In this 5 minute video I will show you how.

‘Ice Breaker’ means to find a common topic between two people, add a comment, introduce yourself, shake hands, exchange cards and move on.

Like everything else all you need is a few guidelines and practice. Go for it…try it! You’ll feel like Superman or Wonder Woman once you’ve broken the ice and proved to yourself that “this was easy!”

It’s happened before…you’re talking to someone and that person can’t help you: You’re not going to make the sale or this person cannot connect you to the decision maker.

Yikes! What do you do?

Answer: You close your discussion graciously by asking: Who do you know (WDYK)?

I’ve used this angle many times. It’s amazing when you feel that you’re not progressing during a discussion, all of a sudden you ask – WDYK and the conversation takes on a new life of its own and this person can now connect you to someone…like magic!

This short video will give you a few pointers on how to ask WDYK.

So boldly go on your networking trail; try to move the discussion but if you find that you’re heading into a dead end remember, ‘WDYK’ and you could well be on your way to discovering your next prospect. Try it…it can’t hurt!

What are the two most powerful words in Networking? … Thank you!

If someone did you a favor during your networking initiatives, be sure to send them a thank-you note or email that same night or the very next day, without fail. Any thank-you note that arrives a week late seems like just what it is, an afterthought.

Saying thank you closes the loop, sends a confirmation to the person helping you and keeps the door open for your next conversation. Saying thank you is the highest form of courtesy. It speaks about your character and credibility.

Remember that you’ll never get in trouble by thanking people too much; However if you fail to follow up with courtesy, what do you think will be in their mind the next time you call for a lead?
